Maple Root Academy
Maple Root Academy elementary school is a forward-thinking, co-educational, Muslim elementary school for students in Grades JK to Grade 6, located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Maple Root Academy prepares students for admission to secondary education while striving to learn Arabic, French, and the Quran.
Pre-School-Kindergarten
We provide a Ministry Curriculum using a Montessori method, offering high quality, inclusive early learning for our students. All children enjoy a wide range of small and large group activities to enhance your child's learning throughout the day. Essential to the Montessori Method, is the Montessori Curriculum, which is a child-centred learning framework that incorporates holistic learning outcomes tailored to each individual child's developmental needs and interests.
Elementary School
We deliver Ontario Curriculum to our students, focusing on all aspects of educational learning, social skills, building character, and preparing students to advance in their school grades. We are proud to provide our students with the necessary educational tools to prepare themselves for complex learning as technology keeps on changing and students need to learn to adapt to ongoing changes in the educational world.

Maple Root Academy, with its pioneering curriculum and approach, aims to create and empower generations of students who are confident of their Muslim identity in North America and are able to pursue and excel in any field of study with a strong grounding in Islamic Knowledge, as well as their academics.

Students will learn about our cherished Islamic History & Heritage, Islamic Values, and Hadith. The character component that is often neglected will be emphasized. It is our hope that by combining revealed and acquired knowledge, our students are prepared to meet the modern challenges of our diverse society without compromising their identity and displaying exemplary Islamic morals and character.

Students will be taught the guidelines of the Quran and the seerah of the Prophet (SAW). They will learn to read and memorize verses and some chapters from the Quran as they progress in the learning stages.
